In Memory of Victor Riley
Friend of OUMF & Guardian of a Great Motoring Legacy

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Victor Riley, whose name and spirit have been woven into the very fabric of British motoring history. To OUMF, Victor was not only a treasured supporter but also an enduring source of encouragement and pride. Victor’s passion for seeing the Riley name continue in motorsport was boundless. He delighted in every story of our adventures—whether hearing of the Racer Riley fighting for victory on track or the Rally Riley charging through the lanes of Europe. His enthusiasm was infectious, and his laughter and warmth made every encounter memorable. More than a custodian of his family’s proud legacy, Victor was a man of generosity and kindness. He always welcomed the OUMF team with open arms, showing genuine interest in our progress and sharing in our triumphs and setbacks alike. His visits to our stands were never just about the cars—they were about friendship, shared passion, and the joy of keeping the Riley spirit alive. Victor Riley will be remembered not only for the historic name he carried, but for the inspiration, goodwill, and happiness he brought to those around him. His absence will be felt deeply, but his legacy will endure every time we race under the Riley banner.

Rest in peace, Victor.
Your smile and support will always stay with us.

In Memory of Jochen Mass

1946 – 2025
Racing Legend & Friend of OUMF

It is with deep sadness that we mark the passing of Jochen Mass, a true giant of motorsport and a cherished supporter of OUMF. Jochen’s remarkable racing career spanned Grand Prix, Touring Cars, Le Mans, and many other disciplines. His skill behind the wheel was matched only by his warmth and humility. Despite his many achievements, he remained approachable and down-to-earth—always ready with a twinkle in his eye and a sharp sense of humour. We were honoured to have Jochen guest drive the Riley 1.5 in the St. Mary’s Trophy at the Goodwood Revival in recent years. Among the many exotic machines he piloted at Goodwood, he told us the Riley was his favourite—a sentiment that meant the world to us. What truly set Jochen apart was his generosity of spirit. He always made time to talk with the OUMF team, sharing not just unforgettable stories from his illustrious career, but also offering genuine encouragement and practical advice on race driving and car preparation. His support was constant and sincere. Jochen Mass will be remembered not only as a legend of the track but as a true friend. His presence, humour, and guidance will be deeply missed—but his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.

Rest in peace, Jochen.
You will not be forgotten.
