For the second test, we chose Rockingham Autodrome. This would provide a very different challenge to Snetterton not only because of the rain the morning but also because of the very different demands this would place on our tyres and chassis.

Soon the weather picked up so that our drivers could start to push the car on the banked section.

As usual, our OUMF student support team was superb, keeping the driver changes and fuel stops precise and efficient.

Again, we managed to get over 2 hours of track-time. Providing valuable data about driver styles and chassis set-up. The day ended dramatically with a broken fan-belt which was luckily spotted early by test-driver Tim Cotgrove and the Alfa remained un-damaged and back on the trailer content after a hard days thrashing!
